Empowering students to preach the gospel of God's mercy and justice.
Preparing future homileticians to reflect theologically on contemporary homiletic theory and practice for the sake of the church and the world.
Encouraging students to study the Bible more deeply for the sake of contemporary proclamation of the gospel.

Church Involvement:
David is a clergy member of the Dakotas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.  He is an active participant at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Kitchener, ON, preaches at churches throughout North America, and has offered workshops for pastors and theological students in Canada, the U.S., Germany, and Peru.
