Bio

Biography

I was born in Tianjin China, in 1980. At the age of 6, I immigrated with my family to Canada. My early life in Canada was very transient, as we moved from Vancouver to Hamilton to Toronto, before settling in Fredericton. In Fredericton, I attended Fredericton High School and then the University of New Brunswick, where I obtained a degree in Computer Engineering. I returned to Toronto in 2003, to pursue graduate studies at the University of Toronto. Currently, I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, performing research in the Institute of Biomedical and Biomaterials Engineering.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, creative writing, and playing badminton. More information regarding my life outside of school can be found at my personal website.
