About Me:
My name is Laura Boyd. I am currently studying the Communications, Culture and Information Technologies program, in the Visual Culture and Communications specialization, at the University of Toronto, Mississauga. I am interested in design and I am hoping to pursue a career in advertising. Working for the Disney Corporation would be a dream come true, as I am fascinated by the creativity of their works.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball, swimming, listening to music, doing crafts, and spending time with friends and family. I have a passion for animals and I simply adore my Yorkshire Terrier Oliver, although he can be a bit of a terror at times, with all of his pent-up energy. Lastly, I love to travel and I have been extremely fortunate, as I have been able to visit the Caribbean, Venezuela, Costa Rica and Europe, trying all sorts of new things along the way, from scuba-diving to zip-lining.
