- Manufacture of microcellular biodegradable PHBV by extrusion foaming and its cell characterization for industrial client.
- Developed a continuos extrusion process for making glass
fibre reinforced Wood-Fibre
composite foams.
- Developed a novel method for making highly porous
Nickel foams using Methyl cellulose as template in collaboration with Vale
Inco Ltd.,Canada.
- Extensive experience in writing project proposals.
- Developed an inexpensive environmentally friendly
method for recycling waste tires designing a high performance counter
rotating twin screw extruder.
- Succesful in using Garlic as a substitute for
Diallyldisulphide as devulcanizing agent in Waste rubber recycling in twin
extruder.
- Optimization of extruder performance by Design of Experiments methodology involving less number of experiments.
- Proposed a Four-parameter rheometric model for curing behavior of Ground Rubber Tire/Natural Rubber blends.
- Developed a new technology for recycling industrial waste Polyurethane using Ultrasonic polymerization.
- Artificial Neural Network – Genetic Algorithm based product recipe optimization for producing automobile brake pedal pad.
- Full time Co-Advisor for 3 PhD students, 2 M.Sc students and 1 M.Eng. student.
