Slime Dragon Quest's Japanese website has now been fully updated and holds some great information on the story and gameplay of this upcoming GBA title. The 'A' button allows you to make Blue Slime, the main character, jump in the air. If you press 'A' again while in the air, Blue Slime will glide for a while. This is all to avoid dangerous paths and enemies. Blue Slime can also carry things on its head, and so if in the air with items on its head, you can press 'A' to throw them. You cannot glide with an item/character on your head. The items could be barrels, and the characters could be other slimes. Blue Slime can also expand itself on the ground and then let go to spear itself in the direction of an enemy or an item. This is the Blue Slime's method of attacking and avoiding certain obstacles.

 Blue Slime attacks an object
In regards to the story, a ton of information was released. The plot starts in the city of Suran, where all Slimes tend to live. However, an assault takes place on the Shippo Dan (translated means "Group of Tails"), and many inhabbitants of Suran were kidnapped. It is up to Blue Slime to save 100 Slimes which are located all over Sla Bacca Island. Blue Slime has a brother by the name of Slami, and two friends by the name of Mihon and Dorao.
The many characters of the game
The Shippo Dan have a secret hiding place and there are certain rules that apply if one wants to enter.
Here are the rules:
01. You must have a tail
02. The more tails, the better
03. You must always aim for the highest
So to enter, Blue Slime would have to carry creatures on its head that have tails. The more tailed creatures, the better. Slimes don't have tails, but other DQ characters like Momonja do have tails.
