NEW FFX-2 INTERNATIONAL CAPTURE SYSTEM

The newest issue of Jump Magazine has dedicated a page to the "Creature Create" system of Final Fantasy X-2 International. The system allows you to catch monsters using a sort of closed space, as you can see in the scan. Once caught, monsters can then fight with you in battle as players. Their stats will build until they have reached the 'final stage' whereupon you can release them back into the wild. Apparently, their stats will reverse back when they are set free again.
Your trained monsters can also take part in tournaments against other monsters. Winning a battle will result in you obtaining several items.
