SO3: DIRECTOR'S CUT FAMITSU AND DENGEKI SCANS

Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut has been covered by both Famitsu and Dengeki Magazine in their current issues. Dengeki Magazine reports on the item creation system, the APA (Auto Private Action) Story system, the Player vs. Player system, and the new character Mirage Coast.

Famitsu Magazine held newer information about the upcoming PS2 title. It mentioned how Claire's (character in Star Ocean 3) father would become a playable character in the extended version. The 58 year old man will go by the name of Adlai Lasbard.

Famitsu also reported that all characters available in the Player vs. Player system will have three different costumes. This has been done so that the same characters can take on one another in battle.

Finally, Famitsu reported that a new dungeon will be available in Star Ocean 3: Director's Cut.

The game will be released in Japan on December 25, 2003. The original Star Ocean 3 will be released in North America early 2004.
