SQUARE ENIX REGISTERS ACTRAISTER IN THE US

Square Enix has registered Act Raiser as a trademark in the US this past month. ActRaiser 1 and 2 were games created by Enix for the Super Nintendo and were released in Japan, Europe, and North America in the 1990s. Both games accumulated sales of over 800,000 copies worldwide.
Square Enix could very well be working on making a new game based on the ActRaiser series, or could just be protecting the name for possible future purposes.
