SQUARE ENIX OPENS KH:COM'S OFFICIAL JAP SITE

Square Enix has opened the official site for its next GBA title, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. The story of the game will connect both KH1 and KH2. The gameplay will be fairly similar to that of Kingdom Hearts 1, but will feature a new card element. Each time an enemy approaches, a card will pop-up on your GBA screen. If you place the same type of card two or three times, you can deal heavy damage to your enemies. The cards can also be used to summon aid in battle, including Cloud (FFVII). The story will start in the Castle of Oblivion, and by looking at past screeshots, the locations will be both new and old. The game is expected to release in Japan sometime in 2004.
