FFX-2 GETS US RELEASE DATE
Posted on 09.03.2003 by Sifar
Square Enix just announced that the beloved sequel will make its way to North American shores in the month of December, and not November as was previously assumed.

CEO and President of Square Enix USA, Jun Iwasaki, said "We are very excited to continue the journey in FFX-2," "While FFX-2 is a sequel, it is in many ways a new game and the first in the series led by an all-female cast."

Square Enix also announced that Final Fantasy X will be released as part of Sony's Greatest Hits program. This has come as a result of the game selling close to 6 million copies worldwide. The game will be sold for $19.95 USD and $29.99 CDN I believe.

No European release date for Final Fantasy X-2 has been confirmed, however it seems that Sony hinted towards a January 2004 release.
