HISASHI SUZUKI LEAVES SQUARE ENIX

Director of Square Enix, Hisashi Suzuki, left the company recently due to the fall of DigiCube. At first, Suzuki was president of Square Enix. However, after the failure of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (an idea he supported), he stepped down and became director of the company. Total losses from the movie accumulated to 137 million JPY. Apparently, he was also the chairman of DigiCube and because of its fall decided to resign from his post.
