NEW FF7:ADVENT CHILDREN IMAGES AND VIDEOS
Posted on 09.30.2003 by Sifar
Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children was shown at this years Tokyo Game Show in video form. However, many gamers were unable to see the footage because of Square Enix's tight laws in regards to cameras. Nonetheless, someone was able to sneak his/her camera and get the videos taken.

Here are the videos:

For those unable to download the video, here is a brief description of what happens: It begins with Cloud talking/praying to himself in a church. The scene then shifts to him riding his motorcycle when he is suddenly attacked by a mysterious character (who looks like Sephiroth). This eventually leads into a sword fight and then the video ends with Cloud looking into the horizon.

Square Enix was generous enough to release 3 Hi-Resolution images of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children. The first image shows Cloud praying in a church, the second shows the confrontation between Cloud and the mysterious stranger, and the third show a close up of the mysterious character (Sephiroth ?).

In related news, it has been confirmed that Tetsuya Nomura and Takeshi Nozue (movie director of Kingdom Hearts) will be the DVD's directors. Kazushige Nojime will be the Scenario Writer and Nobuo Uematsu will be the music director.

Also, Square Enix has confirmed that it does not intend to make a sequel of Final Fantasy 7 or a remake for that matter. The reason being that the current FF7 is still playable on the PlayStation 2 and therefore it makes no sense in creating another game. However, if the PS2 wasn't backward compatible, then they might've given it a thought.

UPDATE: Ruliweb was kind enough to make available screenshots from the Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children's trailer. Due to bandwidth issues, I will only make the better quality ones available online. You can view them down below.
