Research Interests
My primary research lies in the design, analysis and creative utilization of approximation algorithms for NP-hard optimization problems, with an emphasis on complex networks and computational synthesis. This work both expands on existing research trends while also establishing totally new areas of study. Major applications of current interest include pandemic disease mitigation and computer automated inference of complex systems. I also have a secondary research interest in applied machine learning and statistics for health/disease informatics problems.
