Due to the high rate of spread and large area covered by forest fires and the large amount of manpower needed, state firefighters often look outwards for help. This help can come in the form of type-2 firefighters, volunteers with little to no firefighting experience who perform support tasks and act as reserves. Forest Fire is a 3D game used to help prepare these prospective volunteer firefighters by simulating some of the challenges and situations they may face in the field without exposing them to actual danger. It was developed using Unity and aims to teach various firefighting techniques through simulated events and promote safe practices through positive and negetave reinforcement. I helped create this game as part of a team in which I was tasked with the design, programming and level design aspects. The game is currently made for desktop but is expected to be ported to VR headsets in the near future
