about "transience"

transience is a novel that will be published in mainland china (in chinese). 15 illustrations were done for this book, one for each chapter, all by me throughout the months of may to september 2006. all the pieces are showcased beneath, in order of appearance in the book.

stylistically, the major influences on these works include the art of aubrey beardsley, yoshitaka amano, and gustav klimt.
