Description: The idea introduces the concept of network based interactive event scheduling by providing an IMS based framework to schedule events on XDM servers, addressing basic drawbacks of the existing web-based scheduling services. The concept is inline with other existing OMA-based IMS services like CAB, CPM etc. and is completely integrable with them. It also provides an algorithm to eliminate the need of a dedicated timer for each time-based scheduled event at the server end.
