Engineers use engineering mathematics every day for every single thing they design or analyze. This course will demonstrate a multitude of practical applications of mathematical theory, with a particular focus on game theory. Participants will experience first hand how engineering mathematics is applied to economics, modern telecommunications networks, distributed robotics systems, industrial operation research and business strategy, and will enable students to understand the essentials of engineering mathematics and the associated tools to study engineering problems. This course will be an asset to any student with a particular interest in mathematics, engineering or business management.
