My passion for making & editing graphics, combined with my desire to learn html made the very first versions of this site possible. I quickly grew to love the place and the friends I made online. We participated in each other's contests and had a lot of memorable time together. I want to thank all that have helped me in becoming a better webmistress and designer. { Why Star Sapphire?} • Star symbolizes forever glowing beauty, a wonderous and mystical presence in the sky. • Sapphire is a precious gemstone that symbolizes sincerity and faithfulness. Together, Star Sapphire is a place where beautiful things shine with sincerity and faithfulness to those that visit. Hosts July, 2003 - April, 2005 Starting small and inexperienced, Geocities was where the first few versions of the site resided. Even though I had only 15MB of space at the time, I loved the freedom I had on my own. Of course it was Ad-supported, but nonetheless a handy tool for beginners. May, 2005 - 2006 Rinicrown was my very first REAL hostess. It is where my site truly grew and expanded to what it is today. Thanks to her, my site was banner-free and I was able to provide much better online experience to visitors. During that period of time, I ran contests, awards and changed many different layouts that I made. Thanks to Rini-chan! I couldn't have done it without you. Please contact me if you are still around! 2006 - present University of Toronto private webspaces is my current host, and after years of neglect due to undergrad life, I plan to resume my updates and bring back the site. After all, I don't want my work to go to waste. However I am looking for a new host in case this one becomes inactivated upon graduation.
