Students For Barrier-free Access is a student group on campus that represents the students with disabilities at U of T. We hope to provide a voice for a constituency that has been under-represented in the past.

Students For Barrier-free Access is now opening the University of Toronto ’s first student funded and student operated Access Center.

First 2004 Students For Barrier- Free Access General Meeting

The Access center will:
  • Promote accessibility on campus.
  • Work with Accessibility Services to improve accommodations for all students with disabilities.
  • Provide input and a student perspective during the Universities ODA planning process
  • Work with other community groups to strengthen the disability rights movement

We are looking for students interested in participating and taking an active role in promoting disability rights on campus. Our membership is open to all students, disabled and able-bodied alike.
