Baby, when you're gone

Trying to plan your time strategically is not as difficult as you think- i think the more diffcult thing is whether or not things will work out your way. And I daresay that a good 70% of the time it won't, something else will come into play and you'll change your plans one way or another.

I've been doing an awful lot of thinking lately, about what I should do in life as a student, as an AIESECer, and to correlate all this stuff with my lifelong dreams, such as going to France for an exchange, travelling with my family and all. These might all sound like minor things compared to those who have a glamourous life, but again it's a lot of tougher to get things sorted out than you think.

While completing my bachelor degree is a top priority, there are times that I value my AIESEC experience more and would wonder what I would do if given an excellent opportunity in this particular international plaform. Would I give up school temporarily and do it and then come back? Would I say no and try to go on pursuing my dream of getting a PhD - in which you can't really delay your academic career- and say no to AIESEC? I don't know. I think right now this is definitely one of the major obstacles that I am facing in my life right now.

And it's kind of scary to think that god knows what might happen tomorrow, and you can't plan each and every detail out...
