Of all arts, music is closest to the art of cinema. This is, of course, not referring to so-called “film music” but the intrinsic music quality of motion picture. The temporal flowing and spatial swirling of the sensual medium in movie theatre is an event of subtle reincarnation of music. The fact that cinema represents actualities only makes this art more abstract, mysterious and promising.
