While it still seems like we have a ways to go before we can pay for commercial "space tours," or embark on any outer-atmosphere travel, it seems some people are just finding their own ways off of our planet. Brian Feeney's Da Vinci project is in the Xprize running and set to launch on October 2'nd. The best part is that he lives in Toronto! When I first heard of this guy I tought that he must be completely insane. Then I met James (an engineer on the project) at the Communist Daughter and he agreed with me.
