The girls decided to camp out on their own for a couple of nights on the other side of the lake (see "B" on the map). Even though it rained the first night, they stuck it out. I'm quite proud of them. They transported all their own gear, did their own cooking, washed their own dishes and tended a fire. Except for the fire part, why can't you get them to that at home!? I was there just to help gather a supply of firewood (and make sure there weren 't any teenage boys within 400 miles!).
