No, Billy can't actually walk on water. He's standing on a rock ledge.
On the second day we decided to go on a major canoe expedition up river. We stopped along the way and the kids decided it was a good spot to take a dip. (see "C" on the map). Except where you have to portage, the river seems to be quite deep. To make sure there weren't any underwater obstacles, I dropped a big rock near where the kids wanted to dive. It went down a long way before it disappeared out of sight.
