Sea Stryder
I wrote my undergraduate thesis about the energy efficiency of the hydroplanning float wing design of the Sea Stryder aircraft by Aquavion Systems Corp. After graduating, I was contacted by Aquavion and I collaborated with the founder to write and present a paper on the Sea Stryder at the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute's AERO 13 Conference at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. This paper was the only entry under "Innovative and Unconventional Aircraft" during the three day conference.
