Their first full day amongst us and the girls were besieged by doctors all trying to assess them, poke them and prod them so you can imagine they weren't really all that keen on being photographed! Still here's Madeline at 2.35pm on Friday the 29th.

Just before 3pm Mike wheels Nancy over to visit the girls and she stops at Emma's crib.

8Because Emma and Maddy were both facing away from the front of their cribs Mike didn't shoot any other photos until that evening when Emma faced the front at last and he got this photo at 6.28pm - so she's all of 1 day, 4 hours and 18 minutes old!
