Sociology is cho beri gu?

I saw so many people that came back from their universities this week. I wasn't really sure how to say hi so if you saw me I meant to say "How are you doing?". It's also great to have a long weekend, I really need some sleep...

I love my Sociology textbook, it is so interesting that I'm actually enjoying learning some of its contents. It's nice to know how society behaves. Here are some of my favourties parts.

"Even in Japan, where relatively few people speak the language, English words are commonly used and Japanese words that are badly translated into English often become popular. The result is what is commonly know as "Japlish."..."Certain computer terms are more comprehensible to a native English speaker. For example, when you learn to open a computer file's ai-kon (icon) you are told to daburu-kurikku (double-click) the mausu (mouse)"..."For Japanese teenagers, English and Japlish are certainly considered the very height of fashion. "Japlish words are easy to pronounce. And English sounds very cool," says 11-year-old Mai Asai. A 15-year old gir, wearing her trademark roozu sokusu (loose socks), might greet a friend sporting new sunglasses with a spirited chekaraccho (Check it out, Joe). If she likes the shades, she might say they're cho beri gu (ultra-good) and invite her friend deniru (to go to a Denny's restaurant) or hangeru (to go to a Haagen-Dazs ice cream outlet). Of course, the girl might also disu (diss, or show disrespect towards) her friend. She might come right out and inform him that the new shades look cho beri ba (ultra-bad) or cho berio bu (ultra-blue, depressing, or ultra-ugly). If so, the situation that developos could be a little denjarasu (dangerous). Terms of affection, such as wonchu (I want you), might not be exchanged. The boy might decide that he was made a misu (mistake) and that the girl is too hi mentay (high maintenance) to justify pursuing." (Sociology for the 21st Century, Robert J. Brym)

I just found that section hilarious.
