HK Day 1
Check it out, a blog update finally lol. Anyways, this entry is being typed in Hong Kong at the moment because that's where I am right now! This blogger site is actually in chinese and I'm having trouble figuring out what the buttons are...I already deleted this post twice clicking the wrong button.
The flight was long, I had a lot of trouble staying in my seat for 14 hours. I would have slept but I couldn't for some reason. By the time I reached HK, I had one hour of sleep. Add that to the time difference and what you get is servere jet lag. I'm adapting quite well actually thanks to this trip being right after my exam period where I've already been in "jet lag" mode for two weeks.
I met with my relatives after getting off the flight. It was nice meeting them again after so many years. It was also a bonus my uncle speaks good english, if it wasn't for him my life would be really difficult. At that point I was so tired that I could barely keep my eyelids open but I had a Christmas dinner to attend, so once again I turned to my friend Coffee for help.
The HK transit system is amazing, and I've only been here for one day. I swear, they have everything worked out. It runs beautifully, its like magic. TTC cannot even be compared to this.
I dropped in bed like a rock when dinner was over. After nine hours of sleep, I was (temporary) recharged. Day two here I come!
