HK Day 3,4,5

I've been shopping for the last few days, mainly in Mongkok. Surprisingly, I went home with very little stuff! There are just too many shops at Mongkok! I spent an entire day shopping on ONE street which consisted only of sneaker shops! I was completely overwhelmed by the amount of shops and the incredible amount of people shopping all on one street! I think I should just buy whatever I want in the first shop I enter instead of going deal hunting lol. I found that I spent a lot on food since it is actually pretty cheap here. $6CAD got me a huge pork chop dinner with soup and dessert, not bad considering I was completely stuffed three quarters of the way though.

HK is CLEAN. I noticed it when I was making a trip on the Westrail (subway). At first I thought it was a little weird that there was no garbage on the ground, then I tried really hard to look for some litter but there wasn't even a scrap of paper! Apparently, there is a law against eating on the transit system and littering in public can result in a fine. Take note Toronto...although no eating on the bus/train might be going a bit too far.

BTW, the weather here is great. It has been around 20 degrees celcius and quite humid for the last few days. I'm guessing the weather in Toronto is probably...cold. Glad I'm here.

Wow, $6 CDN for supper is awesome. I would have thought HK would be dirty with all those people, but I guess I assumed wrong ><

I think there are anti-eating signs in TTC and Hamilton busses...not sure about Viva or Markham Transit tho. But I doubt that it is enforced since I usually see nasty food on the ground (like chicken bones in a corner...)
