A few awards I received:

The Best Oral Prsentation Award

Awarded to the outstanding presenter from among 10+ oral presentations at CSB Research Day, University of Toronto, Canada

The Best Poster Presentation Award

Awarded to the outstanding presenter from among 75+ poster presentations at the Canadian Fly Conference

Biophysical Society of Canada Travel Award

Selected based on novelty of work presented at the BPS annual meeting, USA.

The Connaught International Scholarship

Merit based scholarship for funding my PhD (Aug 2016-Present)by University of Toronto, Canada

U.K. Commonwealth Scholarship

After highly competitive merit-based shortlisting and undergoing a rigorous interview, I received the Commonwealth scholarship 2016 tenable at Imperial College London, U.K to perform my Ph.D. research. As prestigious as it is, the project for which I was selected was also very interesting in collaboration with J&J. However, I chose UofT for my Ph.D. with Connaught Scholarship. It was a really tough choice!

IITB Research Internship Award 2016

Selected on the basis of academic records and technical interview. Received scholarship to conduct my masters research (Dec 2015)

EMBO|EMBL Travel grant (Oct 2015)

Received this prestigious grant to attend and present my Masters research at EMBO | EMBL Symposium on “Biological Oscillators: Design, Mechanism, Function”, Germany, 12 Nov – 14 Nov 2015

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Fellowship (Jul 2014 – Jul 2016)

Selected on the basis of academic records and technical interview. Received scholarship to conduct my masters research (Dec 2015)

TCS Best Team Award

We got this award for effective coordination as a team for timely completion of a major Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) Project from among many teams that were working on the project.

TCS On the Spot Award (Oct 2012)

I proactively developed a process improvement tool to increase the efficiency of my team's work for the LBG project. This was a bonus award as a token of appreciation for this significant contribution.

TCS On the Spot Award (Mar-2012)

I received this 'On the Spot Award'as a token of appreciation for my volunteary contributions in TCS Maitree group’s social service initiatives.

TCS Service and Commitment Award (2014)

I recieved this bonus award in recognition of dedicated service to TCS for 3+ years.

Sir Syed Emerging Scholar Award (SSESA)(2011-2012)

A merit based scholarship awarded to academically outstanding students, awarded by the Aligarh Alumni Association of New England. Only 15 – 20 applications are selected from several hundred applications.
