Art is one medium to express an individual’s feelings and ideas by using his/her creativity and imagination. Traditionally, artists use art to express their own feeling about their own matters. When time passed, artist has concerned more about matters about the sociality and the globe.

Contemporary art practice is continually to engage matters and issues that are presently affecting the world, such as policies, human right and gender issues. The formats of contemporary art become border, not only including traditional formats such as painting, drawing and sculpture, but also popular conceptual practices such as performance, installation, and multi-media works.

As a student of art and new media, I would like to create some art to express what I think about the biggest global media: Internet. Internet has been common within decades, but it expand rapidly, and to attract increasing numbers of commercial organizations and private users.

Checking and sending Email become a routine of many people now. File sharing on the Internet makes fast transfer of information, even if a newcomers also easy to access and get some expert information. “Virtual community” on the Internet lets people allow carrying different identities in there.

When we think that Internet is just a tool to help us easier to complete many tasks, we need to think about how it changes our lives. We can see that Internet is change our way of communication. Most importantly, we cannot continuously use this tool and do not understand how Internet really changes ourselves and sociality.
