Adults in the 18-24 year category are influenced by roughly all media. Marketing departments in big corporations, large businesses, and even small local establishments are participating and competing against each other to pull individuals toward them.

With new emerging technology, marketing teams have integrated their company and their products/services in all media. From commercials, ads, posters, to anything that has their business/ organization's name on it. The message "buy us" is integrated into the daily lives of this age group through mobile phones, YouTube videos, blogs, social networking sites/ organizations, banners, and billboards. Everywhere we go, there are ads, from buses, benches, newspapers, to even vehicles now marketing a company logo or product with decals to get peoples' attention.

This age group is very technology-savvy, everybody knows about the internet in North America and the internet has brought with it endless possibilities for corporations and regular businesses to market their products. Companies are constantly creating unique and personal ways to get to the consumer using the internet. Costs for putting up ads on the internet have gone dramatically down, which enables small establishments, and local businesses to compete for consumers without having to deal with high marketing costs.

Companies market their products by contstantly displaying a certain product or even the company logo in front of consumers. The more they see the company or product, the more familiar they are going to get with them. If or when a consumer feels comfortable or influenced enough by the company, they will end up purchasing the service or product they provide.
