Kelly Yee, M.Sc.

Okay, it's finally over, I have permission o leave. After 2 hours of guerilla warfare with a five-member committee, they let me pass without any crying (There's no crying in baseball! - T. Hanks). Now, all that's left is for Ernest to hurry up and defend his thesis so we can get our move-on. -KL

Disposable Camera - not so good.

Rather than buy an underwater case for our digital camera, we decided to pick up an underwater disposable camera (Kodak). Apparently these camera's don't work so great. The pictures for the most part turned out pretty grainy, and only really worked well for things up close.

Here's a few images that sorta turned out.

I shall call you Mr. Stingray.

Gah, I'm being accosted!

Back to Reality

Our honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean is officially over. Over 9 days we managed to avoid hurricane Ophelia completely and had nothing but fantastic weather! I think Kelly's first cruise was a success since she has already mentioned booking another. Who's up for a big group cruise?

On top of the usual combination of over-eating, over-sleeping, moderate-drinking (thanks to kelly) and over-lounging, we did make some interesting observations.

1. Taxi drivers in Newark, NJ have no idea how to go from the airport to the cruise port. Apparently a gigantic 3000 passenger cruise ship is easy to miss.

2. When at Grand Cayman, you have to do the Reef and Stingray snorkelling tour. We had an awesome time and got to see lots of fishies, play with the stingrays, and chase after a barracuda (okay, maybe not exactly chase, and more like cautiously stay a safe distance away - underwater pictures to come when developed).

3. Watch out for deadly "sea lice" in the Caribbean. As deadly as sharks and barracudas!

4. I look rediculous in my underwear and someone else's bra...but not quite as rediculous as others. I also don't know how to walk like a woman (I guess not enough practice). *yes, that is lipstick smeared all over my face* For those wondering, I was partaking in the "Quest" gameshow they have on every cruise. If you don't know what this is, you'll have to ask me in person, cause it's too hard to explain here.

5. Some people (American's?) don't work dem fancy cameras good.

There's no such thing as "too big" a monitor

1. The photo gallery has been fully repaired for your viewing pleasure.

2. Thanks in part to Patrick's lovely Sony gift certificate-wedding present, we were "forced " to get ourselves a new computer monitor (we couldn't quite convince oursleves to plunk down the extra cash for a new TV). After some deliberation, we had decided on the SDMHS95PS, a sweet and awesome looking 19" monitor. How sweet and awesome you ask? (perhaps sweet and awesome enough to soil yourself)

Although at first we thought maybe 19" was too big and 17" would be more approriate, we have since concluded that this was a silly notion, and a 19" monitor is NOT too big for any desk (let this be a lesson learned for everyone) :-) . -EL

We update good...

The photo gallery has been updated with pictures from Darren Wu via Roanna Go (one takes the photos and the other knows how to work that confusing email thingy). The update is comprised of the usual assortment of wedding sillyness plus bonus photos! Hurray for Onion Pot Pie!

Probably one more post before we're off on our honeymoon. Check out the iternary if you're curious where we're going.

I've included another un-related photo of Kelly and our friend Mortimer. -EL

Houston, we have pictures

Wow! Finally, our very own blog site... even Jenica has her own. Kids nowadays, they are way too advanced for us. Hopefully we'll be able to keep everyone up to date on our comings and goings through this site. Check back, but not too often. Who know's when the next post will be...

Anyhow, for those of you that did not bring a camera to our wedding extravaganza, luckily at least 2 people did. Here is a link to our album:

We are still waiting for members of the Yee family to come forward with their pictures... Uncle Lionel?... -KL

First Post

If you're looking for our wedding site, the wedding is OVER. You have missed the big event. (There's a link in the side bar if you really must see the old site)

For those looking for pictures: The pictures are coming, these things take time. I'll post again when we put together a make-shift gallery.

Hopefully we'll be able to keep up with the Jones' and maintain a somewhat up-to-date site so everyone can be informed as to what's up.

I should be writing a thesis right now...Here's a picture of Kelly and a canoe. Yes, this has nothing to do with this post. -EL
