In year 2001, their debut album ' First soundscope ~ mizu nai hareta umi e ~ '(to the sunny waterless sea) hit ORICON top 10 and this huge success gave the young group a solid foundation to grow. They also admitted that despite the excitement, they were somehow surprised by the unexpected popularity. However, the singles that closely followed - 'Last Love Song','Call My Name'& 'Timeless Sleep' all failed to hit the chart although all of them are of supreme quality. (The lesson is, promotion matters!)
