My
Bicyclettes
A history of all the bikes I have owned and loved since the age of 10.
Unfortunately I only have the frame and a picture of the Skyway's classic Tuff Wheels II that originally went on it. I performed my first bunny hop on this bike.
I put this one together when I was about 16. Including the paint job, although the paint never really quite stuck to the primer. Again I only have the frame left although I did salvage some parts for my beater bike (see below).
Probably my first real bike. I bought this bike in a local bike shop in 1997. It served me well for almost 10 years. I actually did some real downhill mountain biking on this one. Nothing special though, CrMo frame and Altus "groupo".
My dad found this bike in the garbage somewhere in Montreal. Fixed it up, sewed some pannier bags with the help of my girlfriend and I was ready to roll! 360 km (Toronto-Kingston) in three days. And hopefully many more trips are still to come.
I bought this bike last summer on an impulse after wanting another one for so long. I rode it a couple of time but realized I was too old for this (not enough time) and sold a couple weeks later. (Thanks to my friend Olivier for the cool inlay images)
PIC TO COME If it ain't broken...fix it. My favorite commuter so far.
PIC TO COME Upgraded the handlebars once again and installed a rack and fenders to make it a trouring bike.
A Flat black single speed machine. It gets me around in the winter. I installed the old crank and stem from my GT BMX.
