You're now tuned in to Radio Seven Seas! I
really wanna introduce GARNET CROW's music to more starters
and that's the reason the radio's here, dangerously dodging
copyright laws. But, I've made the point. You'll hear rotation
of GC songs with my short text commentary (below) and also
some of my favourite artists.
This Week

Today
on the playlist is GC's c/w song - Jewel Fish, from their single
'Last Love Song'. It's very upbeat and bubbly and I think Yuri's
voice is super bright and energetic. In an interview Azuki NANA,
the lyricist, mentioned that she inserted death scenes into the
song and it was about 'burial in deep sea'. Thinking of tank fish
finally returning to the ocean just to be buried lol. Hardly anybody
would notice the pun. Anyway lay back and let go of yourself with
the rhythm!
Nest we have Norah Jones with her latest album 'Not Too Late'.
From Wikipedia:
Not Too Late is the third album by American jazz and pop singer
Norah Jones, released by EMI in Australia on January 27, 2007 and
by Blue Note Records in the United States on January 30, 2007 (see
2007 in music). It was produced by Lee Alexander, a
songwriter and bassist on Jones's previous albums (Come Away with
Me and Feels like Home), and it features guest appearances by organist
Larry Goldings, singer-songwriter M. Ward and Kronos Quartet cellist
Jeff Ziegler.
Reviews of the album have been favorable. By January 29, 2007 it
had become the most pre-ordered album of all time on Amazon.com.This
is the second time Jones has broken into the merchant's top 10 pre-order
list. The first single is "Thinking About You".
