Bio sketch

Liang (Leon) Yuan is currently a Ph.D. student in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Univetisty of Toronto (UofT). Prior to that, he investigated interations of ultrafast (femtosecond) laser pulses with a number of semiconductors for a master in physics at UofT. He was born in Hunan province of China and obtained a bachelor degree of science (optics) from Wuhan University (China).

Leon would like to be a professional upon Ph.D. graduation staying technology-focused, which in his opinion is the most promising direction to advance human's welfare.
