A teacher in high school once said to me...."everything a human does in his/her life, is to impress or win over the opposite sex. "
When I think about it, I can't help but think its true. At least for the average human being, like you and me, discounting the nuns and priests and sanyasis and other religious people who devote their lives to God.
You dress to impress the opposite sex, do silly things to make them laugh, when you finally win them over you need to work to keep your family going and so on. Life sure is one big mating game.
