To celebrate the end of trimester II exams, a few of us decided to rent a car and embark on a road trip during the March break.  In 6 days, we drove about 2600 km and visited Boston, NYC, Hershey Park (overrated) and the Pennsylvania Dutch Country.

Well, I didn't go into NYC since I've been there multiple times.  So I stayed in New Jersey to shop.

Then we drove over to Lancaster county, PA, which is the second largest settlement of Amish people in the United States.  We took a buggy ride in a covered buggy (as supposed to the opened ones in Ontario) through the country roads.  A brief description of Amish history compiled by Abe's Buggy Rides website.

New Orleans (for future trips...)

For a while, we were thinking about the idea of driving to New Orleans and visit the Great Smokey mountains on the way.  But it was going to be too long of a drive for the amount of time we had allocated for the road trip.  Maybe next year.
