Important dates

February 19-24, 2010:
Registered students and their teachers receive confirmation of participation in the three categories: Core French, Core French Plus, Extended/French Immersion.
Important updates regarding the on-line test are posted on the Contest website.

March 3, 2010:
ON-LINE WRITTEN TEST
(approximately one hour in length, to be completed on-line by students between 9:30-11:30 a.m. only)
Registered students complete the on-line test at their school under the supervision of a teacher, other than the student’s own French teacher.
The Contest Invigilator’s Form (available from the Contest website) is completed and mailed (or e-mailed) to the Department of French, University of Toronto, as soon as possible.

March 3-16, 2010:
Participants to the oral interview are selected. 

March 16-23, 2010:
All participants and their teachers are contacted by the Contest Chair. Volunteer teachers receive information regarding supervision assignments for April 14.

April 14, 2010:
ORAL INTERVIEW
9-12 a.m.

April 19-23, 2010:
Contest Chair notifies candidates and their teachers of final results.
Details regarding the AWARDS’ CEREMONY are posted on the Contest website.

May 12, 2010:
AWARDS’ CEREMONY

May 17-21, 2010:
Contest Participation Certificates and Individual Test results are available for pick up for all participants and their teachers from the Department of French, St. George Campus, University of Toronto.
