Information for Candidates writing the on-line test

As with paper-and-pencil formats of tests, on-line tests are supervised, which means that a Test Invigilator will be there to ensure that the session follows certain administrative procedures. For example, the Test Invigilator will ask you to sign a form before you begin the on-line test.

  • Your on-line test will be available between 9:30-11:30 a.m. on March 3rd, 2010; the test will not be available before or after these hours.

  • Due to confidentiality reasons, instructions for accessing the on-line test will be e-mailed individually to students between February 25-26. Please ensure that you check your messages regularly a few days before the test date. As important updates will be posted on the contest website, please read attentively the information pertaining to the on-line test.

  • The on-line test will consist of three sections:
        a) Test de compréhension auditive
        b) Test de connaissance de la culture

  • You will have approximately 60 minutes to type your answers. Ensure that each of the three test sections is completed.

  • Dictionaries, Grammar texts, notes, as well as any electronic devices including Blackberries, cellular telephones, USB keys are not permitted into the testing room.
