ASUT's committees for 2005-2006 have been an invaluable support to the ASUT Executive Team over the summer and will continue to assist the ASUT Executives throughout the 2005-2006 school year in the preparation of events and reaching out to students.

The Events Coordination Team focuses on the organization and preparation of events.  This year, ASUT wants to encourage more student involvement, hold events that meet the needs of Commerce students and prove that accounting is about having fun too! The committee members support ASUT in achieving these goals by assisting the Directors of Events with various duties related to events.

The Junior Ambassadors Team focuses on communicating, creating spirit, and acting as a liason between ASUT and Commerce students. This year, our emphasis is on introducing first and second year students to the accounting profession and encourage lower-year student involvement. The committee members help the team in achieving these goals by assisting the Junior Executives with various duties including making class speeches, organizing events tailored to lower-year students, and making ASUT's first-ever First Year Handbook. In September, we will be expanding our team with some 1st-year members, so stay tuned to the ASUT website for the more details and the application form!
