Overview

Training in the Auditory-Verbal Approach provides the skills to teach children with hearing loss to:

HEAR the world around them

LISTEN to their parents, families and friends

SPEAK like their hearing peers

BELIEVE they can do anything they want

DREAM about a future with endless possibilities

Hear and Say WorldWide offers the Auditory-Verbal Approach training to parents, teachers, health professionals and those involved in the development of a child with hearing loss. Hear and Say WorldWide has trained 250 people in 12 countries internationally.

Currently, there are only enough trained professionals to effectively treat 8% of children and adults with hearing loss (AG Bell Strategic International Plan, 2002). Hear and Say WorldWide offers training programs in the Auditory-Verbal Approach for anyone who touches the life of a child with hearing impairment.

Believe in the magic of sound and the power of spoken language.

Be a part of this life-changing experience.
