Preliminary

This course provides an introduction to the principles of the Auditory-Verbal Approach. Additional course content includes the function of the ear, explanation of hearing aids and cochlear implants, and the role of parents and professionals who work with children with hearing loss.

No existing qualifications are required for this course.

This course is best suited for:

  • Parents of children with hearing loss
  • Clinical and education professionals
  • Community workers in developing countries
  • Undergraduate and postgraduate students
