So this week has been pretty busy....things at work are finally picking up =) They're finally giving me large things to do and way more responsibility.....which is good....I think =). So lately I've been rethinking doing my MBA without any experience. After talking to all the people here....and most of them have MBAs from york and u of t and richard ivey, I think getting some experience before doing the program will be of more value. Plus the company might pay for it =). Although my boss did say that working at HBC is an excellent place to prep for an MBA so I guess i'll look at my situation after my PEY.

So tomorrow I'm going over to Erhan's place. Should be interesting and fun. Haven't seen those guys in a while =).....plus I think we're going clubbing. Well it's back to work time =)

Are you going to throw up? Where the hell did kyomi sleep? Where the hell did Nick sleep? Stanley is sleeping in his own filth, Skewers + bag of peanuts + too much alcohol = peanut shells on skews in a beer bottle. Shouldn't have brough peanuts =), Cabin 16 smells like rotten pinapple juice, HOME TIME in 1.5 hours including a Timmys stopover.

To sum it all, ONE GREAT MAY 24 WEEKEND!!!! Indy's know how to have fun! We must do that again before the summer is over!

So today is Selene's and I's 28th MONTHAVERSARY!!!!!!....so I just wanted to say to everyone that I love her and that I couldn't ask for a better person to spend my life with =)

On a different note, here's what I've been up to.
I've been preparing the last couple of days for the WAAAAAASSSAAAAGA trip. I've got sausages, buns, a huge bag of peanuts, lipton cup-o-soup, of course the BEvERages in good engineering style, and some water. Hopefully all you guys that are coming remember that dinner is only planned for as a group......and for those who aren't bringing any food....you just might starve =)....well selene and I decided that we're not going to eat poorly so she's marinating 2 sirloin steaks for us for dinner =) hahahahahha =).....maybe if you're nice we'll share.....yeah right...not bloodly likely =) jk.

Oh yeah before I forget....I just cleared that up......Nick and Erin aren't dating....Nick told me to set the record straight =)

I hope that the weather isn't as awful as the weather man/woman said it would be. They said we're going to be getting 60 mm of rain...I don't know about you but that sounds like a lot of rain!!!....DOH!!!! oh well it will still be good......hahahah drinking in the rain....opps did I sau drinking....I mean singing in the rain!

went to see Matrix Reloaded....too much of Keanu's ass, first 20 minutes sucked butt, but the rest was good....can't wait for the the next one.

went to Uncle Peter's house for Grandparents 52nd wedding anniversary!!! Congrats Grandpa and Grandma Lin!!!..great food as usual, watched James Bond on big screen, Halle Berry is definately HOT, so erin's going clubbing???
SUNDAY
went to centre island with selene' s family, elena "I wanna do stuff", mmm maple walnut ice cream! dang I'm hungry, what? me sunburnt?, oh so sleepy, I'm too big to ride on the flying bumble bee=(, man that merry-go-round is sure fast,

got home, adriane calls? WHAT NIK and _______ are seeing each other?? can't be??, no one can believe it!

Hey hey!! it's the long weekend. So today was my groups bi-weekly team meeting and lunch-and-learn session. My manager presented the lunch and learn session on Theory of Constraints, so Prof Frances should be happy about that =). She took an interesting spin on it relating the theory to business applications instead of it's traditional application to multiple machine scheduling. This are so much different when you're learning for the sake of learning in a non-school environment =). Anyways after the lunch-and-learn, we had the team meeting where the general manager of PES talked to the team about organizational changes and what our strategic goal will be in the future. After all the meetings as initiation, Nicole and I were forced to sing a song to the group. We chose A whole new world from the Aladdin soundtrack to sing and changed the words to A New PES world!. Everyone loved it and said that we set the bar higher for all new employees now =).

On a more entertaining note, I'm going to see Matrix Reloaded with Adriane and Selene at STC. It should be fun and I can't wait.

So right now I'm downtown at the Bay corporate office doing work on my project. So yesterday I bumped in to Rhonda Zwingerman at Lawrence Subway Station. We chatted a little while and compared notes about school and all. Seeing her reminded me how bad I've been in terms of keeping in touch with people from SHAD, and for that I apologize to all the Acadia SHADs. In any case we should all definately get together sometime.

I'd first like to thank everyone for being so kind and generous to me on my birthday especially Selene. She bought me cool rollarblade that would have taken me ages to get (cause I'm cheap like that) and organized a dinner party with the INDY crew on Friday. On friday we went out to the Keg to have some good ol' red meat. It was pretty sick cause both Nik and Jay ate 14 oz steaks. Unfortunately I was way to tired from work to go out with Adriane and Henry to Venue but mark my words we will go clubbing soon. On Saturday I had to give a talk about the research I did with Dr. Vicente on water distribution system to high school students. I've come to the disturbing conclusion that most high school students are blah and boring. Maybe the stuff I was talking about didn't interest them but some of them didn't even hear about Walkerton andthe e.coli outbreak. I mean you must be living in the a hole if you don't know about that. In any case, the students that were interested got a lot out of is and those who weren't interested in it...what can I say. After the talk I went to pick up Selene and went home for my family's b-day party! MMMMM such good food, especially the curry! =) Parties as usual are always fun and I'd like to thank everyone for their generous gifts and donations to the "Dennis Fund" =) Turning 22 sounds so old and it's strange cause I'd like to think of myself as young.

So this is a new page that I'm using to communicate some thoughts and things that I do everyday to family and friends that MAY find this remotely interesting. This week was totally awesome. I started my new job at the Hbc as a business process analyst on my birthday May 5th for those of you who forgot. It was a blast learning the various parts of the business and seeing the new intiatives that HBC is currently working and that I will be a part of. I visited everywhere from the distribution centres in Brampton all the way to the lab stores in Erin Mills town centre in Mississauga. I got to meet everyone and see what it's like to work in a "real job". There as so many perks to the job it's unbelievable. My co-worker Nicole from Ryerson is also doing her PEY and sits next to me, so she keeps me company.

So other than a totally fun filled-exhausting week at HBC, I got to see Selene everyday. She also started her new summer job at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. It's pretty cool. The other day they celebrated BINGO's birthday with cake and the whole thing!.

On Tuesday, Henry, Adriane, Selene and myself when out on a double date to watch Xmen 2 at Yorkdale. The movie was good and the company was great, plus thanks to Chris and Lou, the movies and the food for selene and I were free!!! Anyways I can't wait to start work again tomorrow....and on that note I think I better get some sleep!!! nite everyone!
