This picture is taken in Montpellier, in a lovely French park that overlooks the city.  I wish I took a better picture (there's not enough contrast here), and I don't know what those streaks are, but it seems to be sunlight I can't get rid of.

No, that's not the Arc de Triomphe.  Not THE Arc de Triomphe, anyway.  This one's in Montpellier, on rue Foch.  There's actually a better picture on Wikipedia -- look up "Montpellier" -- but I decided to try my hand at it.

To get to Bilbao, Oscar and I took a train from Bordeaux to Irùn on the French-Spanish border, then a bus from Irùn to Bilbao.  The bus ride gave us some stunning scenery, including this cliffside view of a beach by the Atlantic.
