Name: Randall Baran Chong

Position: Junior Executive

Year: 2nd

PROFILE:

1. Favourite Quote:

That’s like asking a Dad to pick his favourite son. I’ve wasted lots of time memorizing quotes, but one of the best is when Mark Twain said:

“The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them”

2. Favourite Sports:

Rugby, Football, Debate (arguably, it is a sport), Bowling, Hockey (only on the street or a high-school parking lot).

3. If I weren’t in accounting, I would be:

out buying school supplies. The amount of free stuff you get can provide for you, your children, and your grandchildren. I love it.

4. What have you always dreamed of doing:

to hear one of the following: “Randall Baran-Chong, come on down, you’re the next contestant on the Price is Right!” or “This is the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Randall Baran-Chong” or “Do you, Tina Fey, take Randall to be your lawfully wedded husband?”

5. Favorite things to do on a Friday night:

write haiku, sort stamp collection, think of next witty msn name, maybe go out with friends.

6. How many rings before you answer the phone:

It depends. Usually 2, but I have caller display, so it could be infinite, depending on who it is!

7. Worst feeling in the world:

MAT 133Y

8. Pet Peeves: Old Navy commercials, cell phone ringtones (especially in Con Hall with its lovely acoustics), when people drop their Commerce clipboard in class, logarithmic functions, awkward silences, the excessive use of emoticons.
