The Philosopher's Toolbox

Project status for my collection of websites.

Hi there. Not seeing this page in a two-column layout? Perhaps your browser doesn't support web standards (or you've turned style sheets off). Don't worry. The content of this page is accessible to any browser or internet device. However, to get the full 2-D effect simply turn style sheets on, or upgrade your old browser to one which supports web standards. Titles addendum: You can enable the title feature but not show titles in two ways: (i) Enable titles, but don't include the 'itemTitle' macro on the item template. Effect: Radio does not render the title in html, (but it should still render the xml RSS feed if this feature is enabled). (ii) Enable titles, and include the 'itemTitle' macro in the item template, but use CSS to hide them by setting 'display' to 'none' for the CSS class 'weblogItemTitle'. Effect: Radio renders the titles in html (and in the XML RSS feed if this feature is enabled), but does not dispaly them in your browser. Note: titles will reappear when style sheets are disabled. Why would anyone enable titles, but hide them? Because Radio generates web pages and RRS news feeds for your posts. Titles can be very useful in the news feeds. But they can also get in the way on web pages -- depending on your format. These techniques will let you turn titles on for your RSS audience, and off for your .html audience.
Trying to set the number of days displayed in the prefs file. Can this be done?
