I am actually up before noon today, isn't that nice? My biggest plan for the winter break was to get some sleep, but I seem very far from it. Actually I think most days I get LESS sleep than when I had to get up for university.

On friday night I went to watch The Return of the King with Daly, his brother Danny and Mat Seguin (who had to be Danny's date ;) ). We got to the theatre around 7 o'clock because apparently the bus routes have recently changed and we had to take a long cold walk down there. We bought 10 o'clock tickets and started waiting for Kevin O & his date who were supposed to come as well. The tickets for The Return of the Ring were going like crazy and at some point we realized we should buy the tickets for Kevin as well, but by that time there were no more tickets for the 10 o'clock show! Thus all of us had to change tickets to 10:30 show and now we had about 3 hours of wait. We all went to get some food and came back an hour early for the movie. The wierd this is that the theater was already almost full when we got there!

The movie itself wasn't too bad albeit very long. Some of the battle scenes were really well-made, I especially enjoyed the one where the army comes to the gates of Moria. Another good scene is with Eowin protecting her father from the Nazgul and killing him in combat. The ending of the movie seemed to be a little prolonged and actually not all that great in my opinion, though there was a great scene where everyone is bowing to the four hobbits including Aragorn.

After the movie (and it was about 2am by the time) we actually had to walk all the way back to Daly's house because no one wanted to disturb their parents at this time and get them to drive us back. We made a little stopover at 241 Pizza & got some garlic bread with triple cheese (Amazingly tasty!). Then we stayed up at Daly's till around 5 just chatting and whatnot. It wasn't too bad until I woke up at 2pm and had to go home. My mom thought I was drinking all night or something :).

How do you like my new picture on the site? It took about 2 hours to have it made... And now I am just probably going to remake the site from scratch and the picture will be gone forever. Still I learned some interesting things such as: "Lesson 1: How to make something out of nothing". I think I might eventually become a photoshop pro... After a hundred of lessons or so.

I am planning to go visit my high school tomorrow. Apparently, I've got to pick up an award for grade 11 science. It is kinda funny that I am even getting this award now. I mean what does it matter if I am already in university and I am not even taking science. Well, I AM taking science...computer science...but that's not the sort of science I've got my award for. It will be interesting to see the old teachers though. The big dilemma now is whether to visit Mr. Lafleur. I just found out that he has married someone who used to be his student. Considering that he is an annoying, fat, balding man in his 50's that's fairly disguisting. I am probably going to have to stay away from the second floor science rooms.

I just realized that there are a lot of movies I want to see and even more books I want to read. I am probably going to see "The Return of the King" tomorrow with Daly and then hopefully I'll get to see the other movies as well. As for the books, the fourth book of the Runelord saga is finally in my hands. Yay! I expect it to be pretty good, plus the "Grass for His Pillow" is the second book of Otori series, which I have high hopes for. This break is going to be just great!

Hey! I think after remaking everything many many times, I am finally going to keep this at least for a little while. Still, I will probably want to change things for better eventually.

I spent most of my day making this, which signifies how bored I really am. I wanted this break to come so much and now I am moping around with nothing to do. I think university life is addictive because I want to go back. Not that I am craving another 500 assignments to do in one week, but I realized that UofT is a great place to socialize. Well, I am sure I shall come up with something interesting to do next week. If not, I can always make a new design for this page. It takes me forever to do these little things, so my time will be taken up nicely.

Right now I am not 100% sure what I am going to do with this page, but the preliminary plan is to use it for my comments on books I've read, movies I've seen, etc. I have read 4 books since the end of the term and if I keep up the pace, I will have lots to write about.

Be back with more stuff next week!
