The Philosopher's Toolbox

Project status for my collection of websites.

Hi there. Not seeing this page in a two-column layout? Perhaps your browser doesn't support web standards (or you've turned style sheets off). Don't worry. The content of this page is accessible to any browser or internet device. However, to get the full 2-D effect simply turn style sheets on, or upgrade your old browser to one which supports web standards. Ok, looks like the homepage and archive pages are valid, but something is going on with the stories and indexes. Hmm.
Style sheet validates. Yay. Now to propagate the valid mark-up through the other templates.
All done - no errors found! The template now generates valid XHTML. Too bad I had to dump the xmlCoffeeMug macros to do it. (Just pasted the output into my own tag, and used the radio.macros.imageUrl macro. What a shame. This really goes against the Radio spirit and essentially shorts out some nice cms features. Time to start lobbying for changes to the image tag macros. Next step: validate the cascading style sheets.
Two down, two to go. Gave up looking for the rssLink macro and composed the tag myself using the radio.macros.imageUrl macro. Wouldn't have to do this if I could find the macro in the object databas. Documentation. Documentation. Is there a macro to generate the url of the xml version of the site?
One down four to go. Amended the xml.coffeemug macro to provide an alt tag on the XML Coffee Mug badge (used for subscribing to this site).
